Having worked on documentary and reality programs for over 10 years, selecting clips that represent the scope of my work can be challenging... here are a few. Enjoy!

Al Jazeera America: America Tonight - Forced Deportations

I must admit, this piece is special to me. It sprang from a conversation with my father about a little known and very disturbing era in American history.  I had NEVER heard about the Repatriation...  come to find out, few people have.

National Geographic Wild: Dangerous Encounters with Brady Barr - Bite Force II

It may seem like Dr. Brady Barr is just poking animals with sticks, but this guy is a scientist and that stick measures the pounds per square inch of pressure the animals' jaw applies to it's bite. SNAP!

National Geographic Explorer: Camp Leatherneck

Little known fact: when an editor loves the show they're working on, they fall a little bit in love the people featured in the show too.  I was asked to cut a segment about a road clearance team working out of Camp Leatherneck, Afghanistan. Gabriel Christianson and his team put their personal safety at risk to keep the roads clear of IEDs so both the locals and other military convoys can move about safely. Seriously, what is not to love?
