New to news

I enjoy a good news magazine show. "60 Minutes," "Rock Center," "Nightline," the pre-crime and pedophile-filled "Dateline." These were smart and endlessly fascinating shows. So, presented with the opportunity to work on a similar show, I jumped on it. Of course, when a show is being developed and hasn't yet gone to air, it's likely to evolve. I have no idea what this series will really be like in the end. So far,  it a lot of work and a even more stress every single day of the week. I'm reserving judgment until all the kinks are worked out, but the good news is, there are people working in television who don't think reality tv is good or interesting television. There are people working in television who are actually interested and engaged in current affairs and the world around them. These people work on news magazine shows.
